COSMO 2024

Cosmo is crafted entirely from Roussanne, a grape variety that has its roots in the Rhône Valley and finds a natural home in Maremma due to the regions’ shared characteristics. Planted in 2014, these vines now debut their second vintage with Cosmo 2024. The wine is aged for eight months in acacia and oak wood barrels, chosen to enhance its richness while preserving its finesse and delicate aromatics.

The name Cosmo draws inspiration from ancient Greek, meaning “order, harmony, and beauty.” This philosophy is reflected not only in the wine itself but also in its label, which incorporates the Golden Proportion, a timeless symbol of balance and elegance—perfectly mirroring the wine’s character.

The 2024 growing season in Maremma offered balanced conditions and ideal ripening. A mild and rather rainy spring and warm, sunny summer— coupled with moderate rainfall—ensured steady vine development. The harvest produced grapes with excellent acidity, balanced sugars, and vibrant aromatics, truly reflecting the coastal terroir. Overall, 2024 was a rewarding vintage that promises wines of exceptional character and finesse. The 2024 harvest in Maremma gave us grapes that were perfectly ripe yet retained bright acidity, resulting in a Cosmo of remarkable balance: intensely aromatic, agile and tense on the palate, with a long, mineral finish.

On the nose, Cosmo 2024 reveals ripe apricot, Meyer lemon and honey, lifted by a touch of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is silky and complex, with a surprising, vibrant acidity that makes it lively and gastronomic.
